The journal batches have a document number created by the system that does not allow for partial posting. You can do filters and post some of the journal entries but the remaining entries Document No. does not change. The next time a user wants to post all of the entries' Document No. must be edited to the next number sequentially. If there is a find and replace function, all the entries could be edited at one time.
Using just the Find part of the process would allow a user to find an entry without manually searching the lines.
