While creating new budgets via budget journal, provide a check box to update the cost and price to Resources, Item and Expense for the associate project.
Normally, we would go in to Pricing setup for project and predefine the special price and cost on Resource and Expenses and Items.
the new check box would allow the user to set the cost and price of resource, expense and items based on budget journal entered and or posting.
This will eliminate the need to predefine all the customary price and cost of multiple items on the project. within the planning phase the cost and price on resource, expense and items are not determined since the project is not awarded yet. when the user is setting up initial budget as part of worksheet and gathering the resource, expense and items that will be needed on the project, they know the rates at the time. these rates needs to be then updated for the project. if in case there is need for recalculation.
